🎤 Kamala Harris Rally: Today, Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will hold a rally in town. The event will be held from 4 - 9 pm alongside musical performances from Maggie Rogers. Location details have yet to be publically announced, but whispers on the internet suggest it’ll be in Burns Park.

🏋️ Planet Fitness: Last week, Planet Fitness announced they’d open a new 18,000-square-foot gym inside Briarwood. The new location will be in the JC Penney wing across from Tricho Salon and Spa. The gym is expected to open by December 1, 2024.

📈 Look to Michigan: U of M has launched an ambitious $7 billion fundraising campaign called “Look to Michigan.” The campaign, the largest in the university’s history, aims to support initiatives across all U-M campuses, aligning with the Vision 2034 and Campus 2050 plans. U of M has already received $3.3 billion in donations.

Food Gatherers of Washtenaw County
🥕 Concrete Carrots: The six concrete carrots outside the Food Gatherers of Washtenaw County got a major glow-up. Thanks to Calista Dillon, a fine arts student from Ohio, the carrots were repaired, repainted, and refreshed with a protective coating. You can find the 4 to 10 feet roadside vegetables at 1 Carrot Way (next to Olson Park).
